Following the European Beard and Moustache Championships in 2025, the next hairy challenge is already on the horizon: on 19 September 2026, Saalfelden Leogang will once again welcome exceptional beard and moustache enthusiasts for a unique competition.
From 2 to 4 October 2026, the renowned bike festival will return to Epic Bikepark Leogang for the seventh time, adding another major event to the region’s autumn calendar.
For the 46th edition of the Jazz Festival Saalfelden, 16 local businesses and retailers transformed their shop windows into creative stages. The winners of the traditional shop window competition have now been announced.
A high-ranking Greek-Austrian delegation, led by Greek Minister of Tourism Olga Kefalogianni, recently visited Saalfelden Leogang to exchange insights on the region’s successful transformation into a year-round destination and its innovative mountain tourism offering.
In exactly one month, the countdown will be over: from 20–23 August, the 46th Jazzfestival Saalfelden will once again transform the Saalfelden Leogang region into an international hub for jazz and contemporary music.
Following its successful debut last year, the forecourt of Leogang Middle School will once again become a gathering place for music, regional cuisine and convivial summer evenings on 18 July, 8 August and 3 September. Admission is free.
