From spring through well into autumn, Saalfelden Leogang offers one cycling highlight after another. From 2 to 4 October 2026, the renowned bike festival will return to Epic Bikepark Leogang for the seventh time, adding another major event to the region’s autumn calendar. More than 40 brands will showcase their latest products at the expo, including some of the first 2027 models. The programme also features group rides and workshops with renowned riders, the finale of the auner Austrian Gravity Series, the VPACE Kids Cup and a varied programme of activities away from the trails.
For more than 30 years, Delius Klasing’s bike festivals have brought together the cycling industry and the bike community. In Saalfelden Leogang, the event will once again take place at one of Europe’s most established gravity destinations. The expo, bike testing and workshops will all be held right in the heart of Epic Bikepark Leogang.
Test the latest 2027 models as early as October
Once again, the centrepiece of the festival will be the large expo at Epic Bikepark Leogang. More than 40 brands will be showcasing their latest products and innovations, with a particular focus on the new 2027 mountain bike models, which visitors will have the opportunity to test in Saalfelden Leogang for the first time. All trails in the bike park will be open throughout the festival. Festival visitors will also receive a 10 per cent discount on their bike park ticket.
Hit the trails with the pros
The BIKE Academy puts riding skills and practical experience centre stage, with a programme of guided rides and workshops. As part of the ‘Ride with the Pros’ format, Lukas Knopf, Elias Schwärzler, Marlena Neißl and Maximus Wielopolski will join participants for group rides in Epic Bikepark Leogang. The well-known riders from the mountain biking scene will share tips on riding technique and line choice, as well as insights from their own experience. Alongside the workshops, the BIKE Academy will also offer riding technique training with eMTB expert Stefan Schlie and MTB personal trainer Gerald Rosenkranz.
Austrian Gravity Series finale in Leogang
Racing will also be an integral part of the festival weekend. Following five rounds at venues across Austria, the auner Austrian Gravity Series will reach its climax in Leogang, where the overall winners will be decided. The Salzburger and Tyrolean state championships will take place at the same time.
Young riders take to the start line at the VPACE Kids Cup
The youngest riders will also have their moment in the spotlight. The VPACE Kids Cup gives children aged between five and ten the chance to gain their first taste of racing and experience the excitement of competition.
Bike Trial Show, stage programme and festival party
There will be plenty happening away from the trails, too, including a spectacular Bike Trial Show featuring Thomas Klausner. The programme will also include talks, autograph sessions and a selection of food and drink. On Saturday evening, the festival day will culminate in the legendary Oktoberfest at AsitzBräu. Riders, exhibitors and visitors can look forward to a lively alpine atmosphere, live music and traditional hut-style entertainment high up on the mountain.
