Statement on Accessibility

We are committed to making our website accessible in accordance with the Federal Act on Accessibility (BaFG) as amended, which implements the European Accessibility Act (Directive 2019/882) on accessibility requirements for products and services.

This website is partially compliant with conformity level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines – WCAG 2.1, in line with the applicable harmonized European standard EN 301 549 V3.2.1 (2022.08), due to the incompatibilities and exemptions listed below.

 

Non-accessible content

The content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons:

 

a) Incompatibility with accessibility requirements:

  • There are images and icons that are linked only, without alternative text. As a result, these links also have no link text.

  • When increasing text size to 200%, overlaps occur and content is cut off.

A complete relaunch of the website is currently being prepared. The new website will be fully accessible and compliant with WCAG 2.2 AA and EN 301 549. The relaunch is planned for fall 2026.

Notes: PDF documents are available for download on the website but are not yet accessible. If you need assistance with non-accessible PDFs, please contact it@saalfelden-leogang.at. We will do our best to provide the content in an appropriate format.

 

b) Disproportionate burden:

For economic and organizational reasons, it is currently not possible to make older PDF and Office documents (etc.) fully accessible.

 

c) Content not covered by applicable legislation:

  • The website contains older documents and content that are not accessible. Since these were published before June 28, 2025, they are exempt under the Accessibility Act, and no comprehensive adaptation is planned.

  • The website also contains third-party documents and content that we neither developed, financed, nor control. We cannot guarantee compliance of third-party content with accessibility requirements; such content is also exempt from the Accessibility Act.

Preparation of this Accessibility Statement

The assessment of the website’s compliance with the BaFG was carried out as a self-test according to WCAG 2.2.
