In the local Pinzgau dialect, “Suma” means summer, while “Hoagascht” refers to conversation, storytelling and spending time together. That is exactly what this event series is all about: bringing people together on warm summer evenings with live music, great food and a relaxed atmosphere. Under the motto "Live Music. Drinks. Food. Sundowner.", visitors can enjoy atmospheric evenings from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm, offering the perfect opportunity to meet friends, savour regional specialities and unwind.
A new feature in 2026 is the event location. Due to ongoing construction work at the School Square and Music Pavilion, the Suma Hoagascht will be held on the forecourt of Leogang Middle School.
The Suma Hoagascht Saalfelden Leogang opens on 18 July with a modern concert by the Leogang Brass Band. Culinary delights will be provided by LEOs Kitchen & Bar and Crazy Cakes, well known for their traditional Baumkuchen (tree cakes), among other specialities.
On 8 August, the successful Pinzgau trio Die Hollerstauden will take to the stage in cooperation with the Freiraum Leogang Cultural Association. Food and drinks will be served by LEOs Kitchen & Bar and Onyx Smash, offering regional gourmet burgers.
The final evening on 3 September will feature popular cover songs by Trio Infernal. The musicians are also known from projects including Please Madame, Ulrich Ida Zeppelin and Rondstoa. Guests can enjoy Argentine-inspired cuisine by Gauchos Del Gusto, alongside offerings from LEOs Kitchen & Bar, to round off the final Suma Hoagascht of summer 2026.
In keeping with its commitment to sustainability, the Suma Hoagascht is organised as a GREEN EVENT SALZBURG. This means the event is planned with a strong focus on environmental responsibility—from regional food and beverages to comprehensive waste reduction measures.
