With snacks in your backpack through the Stoissengraben

You want to start a little hike on a hot summer day? Then come with us through the Stoissengraben. The wide gorge is the perfect change from an alpine pasture hike and suitable for all ages. Of course, the right refreshments should not be missing. And since there are no places to stop for refreshments, we'll also show you how you can still be well catered for on your hike. Let's go!

Enjoyment to go

Don't give up - that's the motto when there is no place to stop on a hike. Because with the right preparation, you are also perfectly equipped in culinary terms. Simply stop by our direct marketers and local producers. They will quickly provide you with fresh products and traditional delicacies. The village shop in Leogang is also a good place to go if you need a quick snack. The range extends from fresh farmhouse bread to a variety of sausage and cheese products to milk and yoghurt products.

Get started with the right supplies

After we have packed everything, we set off. We start from the Stoissengraben car park. This is on the right on the B311 (Pinzgauer Bundesstraße) in the direction of Lofer.
A wide gravel path leads along the stream through the beautiful natural forest reserve, which delights young and old alike. During the leisurely hikes, you can also marvel at a number of different animals and plants. In addition, the cool mountain water also offers the opportunity for a little refreshment - perfect on a hot summer day.

Natural spectacle included

For sure-footed hikers, another attraction awaits at the end of the trench. There you will find a large waterfall. But be careful - the path is only suitable for experienced hikers.

After we have hiked diligently through the ditch, we are now looking for a nice place to enjoy our snacks and hope you also have fun exploring the Stoissengraben!
