These are the bike news 2021

In 2020 there was a lot of building, shaping and experimenting going on! So we have some good news from the bike world in Saalfelden Leogang for you. We present all the innovations here briefly and crisply!

The Knappentrail is finished and ready

In summer 2020 Reini Unterberger and his team built another natural trail: the Knappentrail. It was already completed in autumn and will be open for you from spring 2021! It shares the entrance above the Forsthofalm with its brother, the Schwarzleo Trail. It then winds its way independently down the forest to join the Schwarzleo Trail again after about one kilometre - a real trail treat.

NEW: Vali's Hell

The new section of the Speedster, built especially for the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships last year, will be open to everyone this year after the UCI MTB Double World Cup. It is appropriately named: Vali's Hell. It is named after local hero Valentina Höll, who crashed in this very area during her World Championship debut in the elite last year during training before the final and was thus unfortunately unable to compete! This year she can show the track what she's made of at the World Cup!

Reshape Hangman I and Hangman II

In 2020, Hangman I has already undergone a small make-over and Hangman II will follow in spring 2021. Look forward to new sections with lots of flow!

New landing bag for the GoPro Bagjump

Do you want to practise your tricks and value a smooth landing even in the early stages? Then we have good news for you! We are upgrading the landing bag for the GoPro Bagjump. From 2021, it will adapt to your landing angle and catch you like a giant cotton ball. This will make your landing even safer and your tricks even more spectacular!

Reshape Lumberjack Trail incl. Bikemovie

In 2020, the Lumberjack Trail was also completely redesigned. New drops await you right after the start, followed by a giant wallride! You want to record this for posterity? No problem, because you can have your run recorded - you know: Bikemovie trail ;-)

Keep the Bikepark Leogang clean

Only a clean Bikepark is an Epic Bikepark, that's why tear-offs are not allowed here! But don't despair, because there are alternatives: In case of rainy weather you will receive a replacement film for a roll-off system and a 10% voucher for 100% roll-off goggles at Sport Mitterer when buying your ticket. "Roll-off instead of tear-off!"

Austria's largest biking region is getting even bigger with lots of new lines & trails!

From 2021, instead of 70 km, you can expect over 80 km of lines & trails on 7 mountains, which can be reached by 9 mountain railways! From 8 May, the first bikers can already shred the Leogang part - the rest in Saalbach Hinterglemm and Fieberbrunn will follow from 21 May. As usual, the entire biking region can be explored with one bike ticket!
