Your Perfect Day at the BIKE Festival Saalfelden Leogang

As summer slowly fades, a very special season begins in Saalfelden Leogang: bike season. From 12 to 14 September 2025, the Epic Bikepark Leogang will become the meeting place for mountain bike fans from near and far – at the BIKE Festival Saalfelden Leogang. Three days full of test rides, inspiring workshops, guided rides, and that unique bike community vibe. Here’s an idea of how to spend a perfect festival day – whether you’re coming alone, with friends, or the whole family.

9:30 am – Discover the Expo Area

Right at the Asitzbahn valley station, you’ll find the Expo Area – the beating heart of the festival. More than 50 exhibitors will be showcasing the latest trends and innovations for the upcoming season. Brands like Scott, Specialized, and Pivot are bringing their brand-new bikes for you to try.
If you’re browsing for accessories or gear, you’ll also find expert advice here. And for testing, all Bikepark trails – including the official UCI Downhill track – are open all weekend. As a bonus, there is a 10 percent discount on all bike park tickets to make your BIKE Festival weekend even more epic!

10:00 am – Workshops for All Levels

Whether you’re a beginner, young rider, or experienced shredder – the BIKE Academy has something for everyone.

  • eMTB Beginner Workshop with Stefan Schlie, multiple Vice World Champion and eMTB pioneer.

  • Rookies Bike Ride for kids aged 10+ with YouTube biker Elias Schwärzler.

  • Ride World Cup Track with downhill pro David Trummer – perfect for those who like it steep and fast.

Workshops & registration

1:00 pm – Lunch & Trails

After refueling at one of the food trucks, it’s time to hit the trails. Try out new lines in the Bikepark like Hangover, Back to the Roots, or T-Line. Whether you love flowy, technical, or high-speed runs – there’s something for every style.

Action Photos & Signing Sessions

If you visit on Saturday or Sunday, you can get a professional action shot with the stunning mountain backdrop. Just grab a wristband on-site and ride! There will also be Signing Sessions with David Trummer & Lukas Knopf on Saturday and with Elias Schwärzler on Sunday.

4:00 pm – Pumptrack with Joost Wichman

Still got energy? Former Four-Cross World Champion Joost Wichman and his crew will help you find your perfect flow on the pumptrack.

From 5:30 pm – Show & Festival Vibes

To round off the day, watch the Bike Trial Show by Thomas Klausner – a mix of speed, skill, and pure inspiration. And if you’re not ready to call it a night, dance the evening away on Saturday from 9:00 pm at the Festival Party with DJ Max Teaser at B3.

Don't forget, we are part of Austria's largest bike region Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn with 105 km of cool lines and trails, up to 9 cable cars on 7 mountains. In addition, the Epic Bikepark Leogang is open until November 5, 2023 and the Leoganger Bergbahnen (Lifts) are in operation for hikers until the start of the winter season.
