On the two Sundays in February, around 1500 visitors were transported into a Nordic lifestyle with a combination of extensive sports activities, typical culinary delights and a tailored entertainment programme.

On 3 February, Saalfelden Leogang will once again be dominated by cross-country skiing. Around 350 professional and amateur cross-country skiers from 15 nations are expected to take part in the Saalfelden Ski Marathon.
Saalfelden Leogang takes second place in the "Sport Tourism Region of the Year" category at the 2018 VICTOR awards ceremony organised by Sport Business Magazine.
