Reservoir Asitz III 


Investment in the quality of the winter experience in Leogang continues with the construction of the new Asitz III reservoir. With a capacity of 60,000 m³, it will enable snow to be made more efficiently and quickly on the slopes near the valley in future, thus ensuring greater reliability and improving the quality of the slopes.

Meanwhile, the blue slope 203 (the Forsthof slope) has been upgraded and fitted with a new snowmaking system. A new blue slope (No. 204), which is 8 to 14 metres wide and is equipped with snowmaking facilities, has been created between the Alm lift and the Riederfeld lift.

Along with the Kühbühel slope (P201), which was improved last year, these three valley slopes on the Asitz cable car have been significantly enhanced to provide an even more enjoyable experience, particularly for novice skiers.

From winter 2026/27, the Most Unique Skicircus Tracks invite you to discover the most legendary runs in the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn – complete with exciting stories and unique experiences.

 

Panorama Slope – Carving with views of the Leoganger Steinberge (slopes 211, 212)
Black Beard – Not for the faint-hearted (slopes 1, 1a, 1b)
Snow Crystal – The World Champions’ Run (slope 36)
Reckmoos Nord – A Hell of a Run (slope 121)

 

D1 Reiterkogel

 

COMING WINTER: UP TO THE PEAK

With the construction of the new D1 REITERKOGEL lift in Hinterglemm, a significant increase in comfort and quality is expected this coming winter. The existing lift, built in 1997, will be replaced by a modern 10-seater monocable gondola lift – identical in construction to the 12er KOGEL lift. A special highlight is the new second section, which will enable direct travel to the summit in future. With a capacity of up to 2,500 people per hour, fast and comfortable transport to the mountain is guaranteed

D1 Reiterkogel

 

The Reiterkogel is a real family mountain in both summer and winter: clearly laid out, varied and with a wide range of activities for young and old.

SCHATTBERG RESERVOIR

 

With the expansion of the Schattberg reservoir in Saalbach to a capacity of 145,000 m³, the snow-making infrastructure in the Skicircus is being further enhanced. The significantly increased storage volume enables even more efficient and rapid snow-making on the slopes, thereby contributing significantly to guaranteed snow cover and slope quality. This creates the ideal conditions for perfectly groomed runs and a reliable winter experience on the Schattberg.
