On approximately 70 kilometers, the massif of the Leoganger and Loferer Steinberge mountains is circled. The paved cycle path initially gently descends to Saalfelden Lenzing. From there, you cycle further towards Weißbach and Lofer. From here, it goes slightly uphill towards Waidring and then to St. Ulrich am Pillersee, where you should take the time to relax by the beautifully scenic lake and enjoy the view. From there, you continue through the Wiesensee valley back to Hochfilzen. Once in Hochfilzen, the return journey to Leogang begins, which goes almost entirely downhill and lets the round trip end comfortably. A rest at the Seealm offers the perfect conclusion to this strenuous tour, allowing you to reward yourself with regional delicacies and a refreshing drink – the perfect place to let the soul dangle.
For all who not only love cycling but also culture, the "Sculpture Cycle Path" offers the right change from the stressful everyday life. This is the same tour as the Steinberg round. Along the cycle path around the fascinating Steinberge, there are 24 artworks. These sculptures form an ideal cultural addition to one of the most scenic cycling tours in the Alps.
