From Saalfelden, via Maishofen to the Glemmvalley
The tour starts in Saalfelden and first leads along a quiet asphalt road to Maishofen, then heads west along the Saalach river. On the cycle path parallel to Glemmstraße, you roll through Viehhofen to Saalbach Hinterglemm. It is possible to extend the tour to Lengau or the Lindlingalm.
At just over 57 kilometres and 770 metres of elevation gain, the route is easy to ride with no steep climbs. The return journey is relaxed, downstream along the Saalach river. Perfect for enjoying the diverse Glemmtal valley with its World Cup and World Championship venue at the 12er Kogel in Saalbach Hinterglemm in summer.
