From Saalfelden, via Maishofen to the pilgrimage site of Maria Alm
The route starts in Saalfelden and does not take the direct route to Maria Alm. Instead, it takes a short detour along quiet gravel paths towards Maishofen. From the eastern side of Maishofen, it heads back towards Saalfelden, up to the district of Ramseiden, past the well-maintained gravel section of the golf course, until Maria Alm is reached. On the way back, the route follows the cycle path back to Saalfelden.
At 33.4 kilometres and 350 metres of elevation gain, the loop is perfect for a relaxed afternoon gravel bike ride – ideal for leisure cyclists and a subsequent stop for refreshments in Saalfelden or Maria Alm.
