Forest bathing or Shinrin Yoku is a nature-related method originating from Japan that developed in the 1980s. The aim is to relax in and with nature, decelerate, and temporarily disconnect from daily stress. Through exercises, you literally immerse yourself in the forest atmosphere. During forest bathing, you focus entirely on the senses; it’s about seeing, hearing, feeling, smelling, and tasting the forest.
