Climate Hiking Tour

A journey through time: Discovering ice, water, and change

Experience the beauty of nature while uncovering the story of our changing climate. Together with KLAR Pinzgau (Climate Change Adaptation Region), this scenic hiking route was created to showcase how climate change is already leaving its mark on the region. Along the trail, you’ll explore fascinating insights into mountain stream barriers, natural hazards, and what the future may hold for our forests. An inspiring blend of nature, knowledge, and discovery awaits you on this unique adventure.

"On our hike, the effects of climate change are tangible. My motivation is to illustrate and communicate the changes we're already seeing in our climate." – Anna Heuberger, KLAR Manager (Developer of the Climate Change Hiking Trail)
