Maximum enduro feeling at the BIG-5 Bike Challenge (formerly the 5-gondola route) around Leogang and Saalbach Hinterglemm. About 5,000 meters of descent must be mastered on this XXL MTB route. Thanks to lift assistance, only a few meters of ascent have to be overcome by your own power.
The BIG-5 Bike Challenge combines six cable cars and five mountains around Saalbach Hinterglemm and Leogang into a large XXL route to experience the absolute maximum biking fun in one day. The predefined circuit already secures the first approximately 5,000 meters of ascent, of which only a few meters need to be mastered under your own power, because the rest is covered by cable cars. During the challenge, everyone is free to add one or another extra lap on their favorite mountain to earn additional ascent meters. But beware: don't take too much time, as the BIG-5 circuit itself takes almost the entire day. What counts at the end of the day is not only riding all five mountains but the experience itself and the cool memories of this impressive route.
