Planned Start of the Ski Season: November 28, 2025

The 2025/26 winter season is just around the corner: the ski lifts are scheduled to open on November 28, 2025.

For those who haven’t yet experienced the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn, the first reaction is often a smile at the long name. But just like the name, the variety on offer at this coolest ski resort in the Alps is extensive. This cross-state region connects not only 270 kilometers of slopes, 70 modern lifts, and 60 cozy yet stylish mountain huts, but also one special feeling: the spirit of the Home of Lässig – or, in other words, that unique sense of happiness! Fun-loving families, sporty alpine skiers, and individualistic freeriders alike will find it here.

But how do you define this feeling of happiness? For some, it’s the care and warmth felt everywhere – from hotels to ski schools. For others, it’s the perfection of meticulously groomed slopes and state-of-the-art lifts. Or is it the untouched powder and those “face shots” that put a smile on your face? At the Home of Lässig, it’s all about joy, comfort, and variety – a diverse and unforgettable experience that stays with you forever.

New for Winter 2025/26

Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn joins the EPIC PASS
This winter season, the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn will become part of the Epic Pass – the international season pass from the U.S. company Vail Resorts. Through this partnership, the premium ski resort in Salzburg and Tyrol aims to attract guests from overseas.
The international season pass provides access to over 80 ski resorts worldwide – from North America to Japan and Australia. From Winter 2025/26, Epic Pass holders will receive five ski days included within the ALPIN CARD network. Conversely, ALPIN CARD season and annual pass holders will enjoy a 50% discount on current lift ticket prices at 37 North American ski resorts.

F8 Maiskopf Lift in Fieberbrunn
New, but not brand new: The modernization of the Maiskopf drag lift saves resources and doubles its capacity – thanks to reused components.
A capacity boost for Fieberbrunn – and a statement in sustainability: the old F8 Maiskopf drag lift will be replaced by a six-seater chairlift. The new lift follows the same route and increases capacity from 800 to around 1,800 people per hour. Waiting times on the way back to the valley are a thing of the past – more comfort, more flow on your ski rounds.
What makes this project special is that key components from the former Sassgalun lift in Ischgl are being reused. Drive systems, support towers, and chairs are repurposed and combined with new elements like cables, control systems, and modern station buildings. This makes the reconstruction not only efficient but also resource-friendly – a flagship project for sustainable mountain lift infrastructure.
Another plus: With the removal of the snow-covered drag lift track, the amount of snow required is also reduced. From Winter 2025/26, Maiskopf will offer a well-thought-out upgrade – functional, comfortable, and future-ready.

New Funslope and Funcross Runs in Leogang
Since 2025, thrill-seekers can also enjoy brand-new funslope and funcross runs. The funslope on the Steinberg piste is almost 400 meters long and nine meters wide, featuring elements like high-fives, waves, and curves for maximum fun. The varied funcross course at the Schanteilift offers exciting waves, gentle banked turns, and small jumps.
