With the recently signed partnership agreements, the ALPIN CARD region has become the second Austrian ski destination to join the exclusive circle of Epic Pass members. The international season ski pass provides access to over 80 ski resorts worldwide – from North America to Japan and Australia. Beginning in winter 2025/26, Epic Pass holders will have five ski days included within the ALPIN CARD region. Conversely, ALPIN CARD season and annual pass holders will receive a 50% discount on current lift ticket prices at 37 ski resorts in North America.
“Through the Epic Pass, we are opening the door to a global ski community – this fills us with pride and excitement. Together with our ALPIN CARD partners, we made this forward-looking decision to strengthen the international appeal of our region – this is a major milestone for us,” says Isabella Dschulnigg-Geissler, CEO of Saalbacher Bergbahnen GmbH.
“Breathtaking Alpine Scenery” as a Decisive Factor
The Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn is one of Austria’s largest interconnected ski areas, offering 270 kilometers of slopes for all ability levels. Sixty charming mountain huts offer alpine lifestyle and authentic Austrian cuisine. At the Kitzsteinhorn, Epic Pass holders can enjoy glacier skiing at over 3,000 meters above sea level – guaranteeing an extended ski season.
“My visit to Saalbach during the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships 2025 was an unforgettable experience, from the thrilling energy to the breathtaking mountain scenery. With its world-class terrain and vibrant alpine culture, Saalbach and Zell am See-Kaprun offer unmatched experiences that perfectly complement the Epic Pass’s extraordinary skiing and freeride portfolio,” says Mike Goar, COO of Vail Resorts – Switzerland.
In addition to the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn and Zell am See-Kaprun, the Epic Pass grants access to numerous other resorts, including Crans-Montana, Andermatt, Verbier and Ski Arlberg in Europe, Perisher, Hotham and Falls Creek in Australia, as well as the legendary mountain resorts of Whistler, Vail, Breckenridge, Park City and Stowe in North America.
