On December 17, 2026, the Asitz mountain will be wrapped in a truly enchanting atmosphere as the popular TONspuren am Asitz event series invites you to a festive pre-Christmas evening with its winter concert TONspur trifft SCHIspur at the AsitzBräu.
Your alpine winter fairytale begins the moment you step off the Asitzbahn cable car. At the top, the aroma of steaming hot beverages and delicious Christmas cookies welcomes you, setting the perfect festive mood. After a hearty meal in the cozy parlors of the Alte Schmiede, a short romantic winter stroll leads you over to the AsitzBräu. Enjoy a refreshing drink at the bar before settling comfortably into your seat, leaning back, and soaking in the anticipation of the musical highlight to come.
The sparkling climax of the evening features a performance by the renowned ensemble Quadro Nuevo. The story of their origin feels like a little Christmas miracle: in 1996, four independent musicians met in a parking lot near Salzburg to record film music for the ORF. From this chance encounter grew a quartet with an unmistakable, masterful sound. Over the past three decades, they have spellbound audiences at more than 4,000 concerts worldwide—from New York’s legendary Carnegie Hall to the Montreal Jazz Festival and the International Jazz Festival in Burghausen.
