Theatre: Behinderte Liebe in GERMAN LANGUAGE
Lebenshilfe stands for the vision of enabling a self-determined life with and for people with disabilities in an inclusive and barrier-free society.
In its new mission statement, it sets ambitious goals in various areas of social policy – such as work, housing, mobility, health, relationships, leisure, and education.
With “Disabled Love”, the VOLXTHEATER Workshop of Theater ecce places the topic of love, relationships, and sexuality at the center – from the perspective of people with intellectual disabilities, their families, and the caregivers in social institutions.
This evening of improvisational theatre is meant to be a humorous impulse and a starting point for open conversations.
Everyone is invited to join in – to play, to speak, or simply to watch.
“By 2035, Lebenshilfe aims to achieve, among other things: People with disabilities shape their own relationships. They can have friends. They can have partners. They can have relationships that include sexuality. They can have a family of their own. Everyone receives the support they need to do so.”
Performed by: Participants of the VOLXTHEATER Workshop Saalfelden and guests
Directed by: Reinhold Tritscher
