Koeniglollipop „Pantheism at Praterstern“
Austria
Leo Riegler – voice, electronics, guitar, turntables, saxophone
Lukas König - drums, synthesizer, trumpet
Lukas König and Leo Riegler have been making music together under various names for quite some time. But even though their current incarnation is called Koeniglollipop, they’re everything but suckers. König, a former Artist in Residence at Saalfelden, appearing here on drums, synthesizer, and trumpet, and the leonine Riegler on guitar, saxophone, turntables, and poetic spoken-word contributions (at times earnestly nonsensical, at others nearly sung) present the melancholy and sweetness of their new album, “Pantheism at Praterstern”. "It is all about interconnectedness, about the dissolution of boundaries, about the Self within the All and the All within the Self," as they themselves put it. That this can also be enormously entertaining is particularly evident in their live performances, best savored as small happenings. Thank you.
