Our artist-in-residence on the vocal cords and his American colleague on the bass strings celebrate the art of the duo. This "knobMob" also finds a common denominator in improvisation in their trio with guitarist Kalle Kalima (also in Saalfelden this year). Working together as a duo, they spontaneously sound out their respective childhood loves (and sins): from punk rock to alpenglow for Schaerer, from Wayne Crantz or Dave Fiuczynski (Screaming Headless Torsos) to Hildegard Knef for Lefebvre.
