Two violas, two voices, two classically trained musicians, performers, improvisers and composers who do not settle into any genre, but merely plunder its camps and, before you can get hold of them, are already on their way to new shores. Musical traditions are explored just as much as they are freshly invented on the spot.
Flora and Jelena were already fans and role models for each other before they knew one another. In 2022, they met in person for the first time at the “Monday Improviser's Session” in Vienna. Since they only had one viola to play, they gave a short performance with it, their two bows and their two voices – and just like that, the duo was born.
