Daniel Erdmann - saxophone
Hasse Poulsen - guitar
Edward Perraud –drums
The pan-European trio Das Kapital, founded in 2002, became known for its distinctive interpretations of Hanns Eisler, for which it was awarded the German Record Critics’ Award. In their subsequent albums featuring original compositions, the three musicians combined musical individuality with political conviction. With “Vive La France” (2019), they transformed French classics into surprising sonic experiments. To mark its 25th anniversary, Das Kapital presents a journey through the band’s history, crowned by pieces from its new programme “Europa, mon amour” – a musical declaration of love to a continent in crisis.
