Asitz Music Night with Rusty Strings
Live Music with Rusty Strings starts at 07:00 pm at the AsitzBräu.
The Asitz lift operates permanently from 06:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
Ski passes from 2 days or longer or the Saalfelden Leogang Card are also valid for the night trip. The Entrance to the AsitzBräu is free.
Rusty Strings have dedicated themselves to the classics of the 20th century.
With three-part vocals, solid guitar work and a rich groove, they manage to capture the magic of a style-defining era and bring it live to the stage.
The band's large repertoire includes covers in singer-songwriter style as well as folk, pop and country gems,
pop and country gems. Detours into the more moderate rock genre and into the ever-popular and well-known Austro-pop complete the programme.
Beatles, Simon and Garfunkel, Cat Stevens, Eric Clapton, Johnny Cash, Crosby Stills & Nash form the solid foundation on which the trio builds with newer songs that have already become classics in their own right. Names like Bryan Adams, Dire Straits, Crowded House, Ed Sheeran, Rea Garvey, STS, Rainhard Fendrich and others can be found on the Rusty Strings' setlist, as well as one or two original compositions true to the style.
Rusty Strings were reformed as a trio in 2016. The collaboration of an experienced guitar and vocal duo (Stefan Mayer, Christoph Wörgötter) with the experienced bassist and singer Chris Mares has set itself the goal of raising "easy listening music" with dense choral movements and rhythmic drive above "speakeasy level" and thus delighting a broad audience from 17 to 70.
Stefan Mayer (vocals, acoustic guitars)
Chris Mares (vocals, bass guitar, cajon, percussion)
Christoph Wörgötter (vocals, acoustic and electric guitars)
