Andrea Grossegger is the first Austrian biathlete to win a medal at the World Championships. In 1984, in Chamonix, France, she won the bronze medal behind a Russian and a Norwegian. Her list of achievements includes numerous Austrian championship titles, six overall victories in the World Classic Trophy, and success in prestigious cross-country races. Today, she supports the HSV Saalfelden as a coach, organizer, and vice president.
