Language Selection
From the town hall square in Saalfelden, you first follow the Tauern Cycle Route towards Lofer. In the Bachwinkl district of Saalfelden, you then turn off the cycle route and continue up the road to the Wiechenthaler Hütte car park. Here, keep to the right and follow the forest track, with its several hairpin bends, up to the picturesquely situated Steinalm. After a leisurely break with a snack and a magnificent view of the surrounding valleys, head back to Saalfelden along the same route.
