First, you ascend with the help of the gondola to the Asitz mountain station (lift pass required!). After the Asitz trail (difficulty level: red), the path leads alternately downhill and uphill to the Thurneralm. From there, it continues on a splendid forest and meadow trail (Egger trail) to the Spielberg plateau. Past the Spielberghaus and the Burgeralm, you ride downhill on the forest road to the inn "Eiserne Hand" in Fieberbrunn. A short climb brings you to Hochfilzen. The return journey then goes comfortably on the bike path back to Leogang.
