Procedure for home PCR gargle tests

Register at www.sbg-gurgelt.at.
Select "Pick up sample kit now" on your cell phone at a pick-up point.
Pick up PCR gargle kit (supply pack with 10 individual kits) within 20 minutes by presenting the timer at the pick-up point.
Register sample in personal sample account (separate one for each person testing) and gargle.
Drop sample into a collection box at the drop-off point. If the sample is deposited by 10 a.m. on weekdays (not on Sundays and public holidays), the result will be available within 24 hours.
Result comes as SMS with a link to the analysis result (date of birth = password) and can be downloaded as pdf and transferred to the Green Passport.
A new sample submission is possible after 48 hours at the earliest. Persons who have already tested positive can take another PCR test after 21 days.

From Monday to Saturday, PCR and antigen tests can be made at the Pinzgau Pharmacy in Saalfelden and at the pharmacy in Leogang. Five PCR tests per month are free of charge for persons insured in Austria. Persons insured in Austria also receive 5 antigen rapid tests and QR codes for home use per month in pharmacies. The certified rapid test is processed via www.salzburg-testet.at. The test result is valid for 24 h and counts as proof of 3G (vaccinated, tested, recovered).
