Over six stages, the route takes you from Saalfelden via Maishofen and Maria Alm to Hintermoos, Dienten and Hinterthal, before returning to Saalfelden.

From Maishofen to Maria Alm, the trail leads into the impressive Pinzgau Grass Mountains. Summits such as Sausteige and Hundstein offer spectacular panoramic views. Along the way, enjoy ever-changing vistas of Lake Zell, Ritzensee, the 3,000-metre peaks of the Hohe Tauern and the striking Steinernes Meer.

The final stages from Hintermoos via Dienten and Hinterthal to Saalfelden are more relaxed hikes – the perfect way to round off six memorable days in the mountains.
