Wiener Brut has grown from a duet of father and daughter to a quartet with accordion, double bass, drums and vocals. They have heart, are masters of the groove and win over hearts, with the sound of butter-soft accordion tones drawing the last tears. 2022 saw the release of their fourth album, a collection of touching and beautiful mood pictures. In every bar, the playfulness of the effervescent singer Katharina Hohenberger resonates with the playfulness of the family of musicians around her. In her lyrics, she affirms life. She extends her hand in congratulation to the youth, boldly pays tribute to well-known songs and unpretentiously holds a mirror to her audience's face. Whether in the Vienna Konzerthaus, in a small cellar restaurant, on television or on the radio, Wiener Brut take their audience by the hand and invite them to take a leap with them, full of confidence and without the slightest idea of where the journey is going to take them.
