‘Karl Reinthaler and the resistance of the railwaymen’
Opening with the Saalfelden railwaymen's town band in Urslaupark Saalfelden, in case of bad weather at Kunsthaus Nexus.
The multi-year research and mediation project Places of Remembrance is realising temporary memorial sites in the province of Salzburg from 2022 to 2028 in memory of the resistance against the Nazi regime. Our focus in Saalfelden (10 May 2025 to May 2026) is on Karl Reinthaler and the resistance of the railway workers. It is being realised in cooperation with the municipality, Kunsthaus Nexus, Museum Schloss Ritzen and the education centre.
