Mahan Mirarab fuses contemporary jazz, traditional Iranian music and European soundscapes to create his own unique musical style. The Vienna-based guitarist and composer uses his unique double-neck guitar to create poetic and virtuosic soundscapes that are full of emotional depth. On his debut album Unspoken, released by ACT, he explores themes of identity, migration and cultural diversity. Alongside Daniele Camarda and Golnar Shahyar, he creates intense musical encounters characterised by improvisational freedom, virtuoso interplay and cultural dialogue.
The concert will take place outdoors in the museum's backyard.
