Kultkabarett "Dirndl sucht Gewand"
Cult Comedy with Manfred Baumann, Peter Blaikner & Fritz Messner
These days, success is all about looking the part! In their new programme, cult comedy trio Fritz Messner, Manfred Baumann and Peter Blaikner explore the question of what a Dirndl is really looking for: naturally, the best outfit! Because whether it’s a job interview, choosing a partner, making connections with the neighbours or appearing at an audition – if you want to fit in and be successful, above all, you have to look perfect.
Does being a Dirndl give you an advantage from the outset? After all, women are on the rise everywhere these days – in business, politics and society. So the answer is clear: let’s get the feminine into the programme – preferably in the form of a Schürzenjäger!
The three cult comedians take aim at the excesses of our obsession with self-optimization and send a whole series of utterly absurd characters – pardon: female characters – onto the stage. Whether you have better chances on a matchmaking show as a petrol-station breakdancer or as someone reciting dialect poetry, they question it all mercilessly – including our daily urge to present the perfect façade.
And, of course, things will once again be wonderfully quirky and musical – after all, that goes without saying. Music, of course, is feminine.
Cult comedy comes to the Nexus for two consecutive nights: Friday, 19 February and Saturday, 20 February!
