And others.
What begins as an improvised dish in the kitchen turns into a musical feast. Rupert Struber transforms everyday objects from the kitchen, office and rubbish heap into unusual percussion instruments. Together with Nora Skuta, who prepares the piano to unlock entirely new sound worlds, he creates music that surprises, crackles, rattles and amazes. Junk becomes percussion, and the familiar is transformed into something completely new.
Alongside this musical cooking process, thoughts about recycling and the use of resources naturally arise – extending well beyond the concert hall.
The musicians will be happy to share their recipes!
