Helene Glüxam „Nachtvogel“
Austria
Helen Glüxam – double bass, vocals
Viennese double bassist and composer Helene Glüxam places the contrast between deep bass and high voice at the centre of her solo project. Using extended playing techniques and minimalist arrangements, she develops an independent sonic language between jazz, improvisation, avant-garde and alternative rock. Her debut album “Nachtvogel”, released in 2026, combines experimental sounds with clear song structures and intense sonic atmospheres. In 2025, Glüxam was awarded the Austrian Jazz Prize in the “Best Newcomer” category and selected for the NASOM support programme.
Experience the concerts in Leogang by public transport! The bus 960 departs from "Saalfelden Postplatz" at 9:15 am and arrives at "Hütten Ortsmitte" at 9:34 am. Please note that there is a charge for the bus ride. The return journey is also possible by public bus at 3:53 pm.
