The "Unterberghaus" snack bar is the starting point for the guided tours and, after visiting the mine, invites you to linger in a cozy ambience and delicious local cuisine. You can also see some very interesting gravel maps of the Schwarzenberg mountain district! Of course there are also souvenirs, which will surely remind you of the visit of our showmaker.
Since the 20th anniversary of the show-mine in 2009, there is a genuine pile-work in the immediate vicinity of the Knappenstube, which can be used to demonstrate how difficult it was for the miners to extract the ore from the excavated rock.

Guided tours take place from Wednesday to Sunday at 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM.
Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays (may be partially open in bad weather – please always check directly with the show mine).
In case of bad weather, tours are held continuously (every 45–90 minutes). We recommend contacting the show mine in advance by phone or email.
With the Saalfelden Leogang Card, you receive a 20% discount on the admission price.

During winter, visits to the show mine are not possible. However, a walk or a romantic sleigh ride to the Knappenstube is well worth it!
From the “Forsthofalm” parking area, it is approximately 2.5 km along a forest road to the Unterberghaus (with a gentle incline).
