Moderate standard beginner ski tour (approx. 1000 vertical metres, 2.5 hours) with some more challenging sections by the Steinbergbahn Piste in Leogang. Start is at the Steinbergbahn bottom lift station, finish is at the Asitzbahn top lift station, with refreshment possibilities. Descent is on prepared pistes. Free parking and use of the route. Donations are invited for a local social project (donation box at the Steinbergbahn lift station).

The ski touring route (next to the Steinberg slopes 211+212) is open for daytime use (within the opening hours of the slopes).
The Steinberg slope (211 and 212) will be open to ski tourers up to the Asitz top station on Friday, 20 March 2026, as well as on Tuesdays from 06.00 pm to 10.00 pm.
The route from the Steinbergbahn bottom lift station (812 m) mainly follows secured pistes up to the Asitzbahn top lift station (1759 m); height difference: 947 vertical metres. Difficulty: moderate Ascent From the Steinbergbahn car park, head up towards the Kraller Alm on the right-hand side of the piste to start with. From here, follow the ski tour signs away from the edge of pistes 211 and 212 until you get the top lift station.
Please only crossed the piste at designated places. Choose your route up away from the piste, and always on the marked side. Descent Follow pistes 212 and 211 into the valley.
