An scenic mountain bike route with a medium level of difficulty suitable for all mountain bikers.
From the town hall square in Saalfelden, you first cycle along the Tauern Cycle Route towards Lofer. After about 1.5 kilometres, turn right and follow Lichtenbergstraße to the start of the main climb below the Einsiedelei – Steinalm car park in Saalfelden. From here, the route climbs to the highest point of the tour, which lies at the foot of the Breithorn. The route then continues downhill along forest tracks to the Berggasthof Kronreith, where the magnificent panoramic views invite you to take a well-deserved break. Passing through Maria Alm and the Urslautal golf course, you then cycle the final stretch along the cycle path back to the starting point in Saalfelden.
