Saalfelden unites: The town and culture festival from 24 - 26 June 2016

There is a colourful mix of things to discover from the Saalfelden Leogang region around the town hall square. At the three-day event, the local meets the exotic and the traditional meets the experimental. The cosmopolitan programme offers something for everyone: from the Saalfelden folk song choir to drummers, from Schuhplattler to street dance, from the Eisenbahner Stadtkappelle to Afrika Drumbock and the clarinet choir, everything is represented.

On the evening of 24 June, the event begins with an opening concert in the Saalfelden parish church. Afterwards, various bands take to the stage at the "Thunder Night Festival" on the town hall square. On 25 June, performances on the large stage on Rathausplatz invite you to sing and dance along.  Music, dance and singing groups provide a varied programme. Of course, the culinary programme is also "multicultural". The "Genussmeile" offers Pinzgau delicacies such as "Bladln" and bratwurst sausages, as well as international specialities. For the younger guests, there is all-day childcare in the parish hall or in the new secondary school. On 26 June, the 3rd Culture Festival will conclude with a festive church service, parade and morning pint.
