KIDS ON SKI
Watch out, families! We are bringing the youngsters onto skis - for free!
This is our invitation to the youngest winter sports enthusiasts to make their first turns in the fresh snow of Saalfelden Leogang. KIDS ON SKI offers children between the ages of 3 and 5 the opportunity to learn how to ski and to experience pure winter fun on the slopes together with peers.
In the coming winter, around 200 children in Saalfelden Leogang will be able to take part in ski courses free of charge, stay overnight in the partner hotels and be provided with ski tickets and equipment (in selected weeks only).
BENEFITS
The KIDS ON SKI package includes:
- 7 nights in one of the five partner hotels incl. booked meals free of charge in the parents's room
(with at least 2 full-paying guests in accommodation, for children between 3-5 years who are not of school age, outside of the winter holidays only) - 5 x half-day ski course (2h) for beginners only - mornings - start Sunday or Monday

HOTEL KRALLERHOF

THE PROJECT
Six winter sports destinations (Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis and Saalfelden Leogang, Aletsch Arena and Grindelwald, Alta-Badia and Madonna di Campiglio) are pulling together to launch a pilot project in the coming winter of 2023 / 24!
"Finding the skiers of tomorrow and winning them over for skiing" is the motto of the pilot project "KIDS ON SKI". The aim of this initiative is to get absolute ski beginners between the ages of 3 and 5 (children who are not of school age) excited about skiing.
The kick-off will be in 2023/24 when each of the six destinations will offer around 200 children the opportunity to attend free ski courses, including equipment and ski pass, and to stay in exclusive hotels. The long-term goal of the project is to get up to 1000 children per destination onto the slopes, which in turn would mean a total of 50,000 children per winter at 50 top ski areas in the Alpine region. This initiative has the potential to sustainably improve the situation for junior skiers and enables young children to discover the joy of skiing at an early age.
