LUNGAU POP FACTORY – Spotlight 70er Jåhr
The 17-piece Lungau Pop Factory brings a selection of songs from the 1970s to the stage for one special evening, arranged for a large rock band with a brass section. From rock classics and funky grooves to soulful and folk-inspired ballads – all the ingredients are there for a truly special night.
The “Lungau Pop Factory” is a project by the Lungau Cultural Association that takes place every two years. It brings together selected musicians from the Lungau region, ranging from the Querschläger to the Lungau Big Band and musicians from all genres in between and beyond, to create evenings dedicated to specific themes from pop music history.
Following “50 Years of Woodstock” in 2019, “Club Session Love Songs” in 2021 and “Beatlemania entan Tauan” in 2023, the spotlight now turns to the music of the 1970s – a decade in which the diversity of styles in popular music truly exploded.
This time, the 17-piece ensemble will perform a selection of songs spanning a wide range of styles, from rock classics and funky grooves to soulful and folk-inspired ballads, all arranged for a large rock band with a brass section. Everything is set for a very special evening!
