Lehmanns Brothers
This event has already taken place.France
Alvin Amaïzo - guitar
Julien Anglade – keys, vocals
Simon Corneille - saxophone
Jordan Soivin - trombone
Clément Jourdan - bass
Dorris Biayenda – drums
The Lehmanns Brothers are one of the hottest funk bands of our time. Winners of the Shure Call for Legends contest at the 2017 Montreux Jazz Festival, they have opened for Fred Wesley, Maceo Parker and the Wu-Tang Clan at festivals and in concert halls. With subtle jazz and funk influences from the 70s and touches of hip-hop, neo-soul and afro-beat, they explode on stage, ready to set it ablaze and tear the roof of any and all mothers. These young musicians are particularly influenced by the music of James Brown, Jamiroquai, The Roots and A Tribe Called Quest, and their performances have a groovy, celebratory atmosphere. All they really want is to get the crowd dancing and to freak out - an experience not to be missed!
