Discover the Bikepark at the Riders Playground

The Riders Playground, which is one of the biggest beginners parks in Europe with an area of 10.000 m², is located at the valley station of the Asitzbahn cable car and is simply perfect to gather some first impressions of the bikepark and to improve your skills. For the youngest ones there is an exciting wave course for practising whereas the elderly ones can already ascent with the training lift and bike down some easy freeride trails with some jumps and steep curves. Our tip: There are great biking courses for mini mountain bikers!

BIKE FESTIVAL Saalfelden Leogang

The Bike Festival Saalfelden Leogang guarantees a good atmosphere, where you can participate in workshops for mountain bikers and e-bikers of any age, there are cool testing parcours and meet & greets. The highlight of the Bike Festival definitely is the trade fair, where the new bike modles are being presented and you can already have a look at the bikes from tomorrow.

Children between the age of 5 and 17 can participate in the Junior Trophy and can gather first competition experiences, where every finisher gets a medal.

Park of Senses

Continuing hiking pleasure and Park of Senses at the Asitz mountain

When here on family vacation, you definitely have to make an excursion to the Mountain of Senses in Leogang. The cable cars, which bring you up the Asitz mountain, are still open in autumn until the start of the skiing operation. So you can still discover the diverse activities and game stations . There is even a thrilling rally, where you can solve riddles.

Fun for the whole family is guaranteed at the varied stations on the Mountain of the Senses.

Hiking

Step by step to the mountain hut Lettlkaser

This hike is perfect for those, who like to enjoy the quietness of nature and like to wander off the beaten tracks without any cable cars or chairlifts. Enjoy the colourful nature and a traditional Austrian snack. This hiking path leads you through the forest, across Alpine pastures and along the steep rocks of the massif Leoganger Steinberge until you reach the mountain hut Lettlkaser, where you can enjoy the stunning view.

Climbing Hall

Pure concentration while climbing

When it's raining outside and the weather is not so nice, you can try out the climbing hall "felsenfest" in Saalfelden. It is one of the biggest and most modern climbing halls of the country and you can either book a course or try out climbing for the first time. Gather your first experiences with rope and harness or - when advanced - climb on two floors or try out bouldering.

While climbing, children as well as adults, improve their power, stamina and coordination. And of course your brain!
