Two saxophonists and a cellist produce smooth sounds that evoke an elegance reminiscent of chamber music. Their pieces often radiate a meditative calm, and yet inexorably they open up in a wave of intensity that just as organically subsides again, inevitably producing the impression of an eternally flowing current. Lyrical cello passages lead us to melancholic, peaceful interior worlds that exude incredible power and compelling beauty.
