One day, she and her house are carried by a hurricane "over the rainbow" in the magic land of Oz.
The house ends up directly on the wicked witch of the East. Dorothy wants to go home again. The good witch Glinda advises the girl to seek help from the Wizard of Oz in the Emerald City who can allegedly fulfill all wishes. On her way there, Dorothy meets the scarecrow, who would like to have brains, the Tin Man, who longs for a heart, and the cowardly lion, who dreams of being brave.
However, Dorothy and her new friends have plenty of obstacles to overcome before they see the Wizard of Oz ...

After "Die Schneekönigin", "Der Feuervogel", "Till Eulenspiegel" and "Das Gauklermärchen" the theater ecce brings this children's book classic with a top-class ensemble of actors and acrobats with a lot of live music on stage.
