Edi Nulz
This event has already taken place.Austria
Siegmar Brecher – clarinet, sax
Julian Adam Pajzs – guitar
Valentin Schuster – drums
Are these guys playing jazz counteracted by rock elements, or is it the other way around? Aren’t we rather listening to a rock band infiltrated by jazz? Indeed the tractor this mini-orchestra is firing up defies any purity requirements in jazz, indie, rock’n’roll etc.
Pure anarchy: a bassless jazz trio, a rock band minus a singer. But is it really that simple? Edi Nulz allows the bass clarinet to be a solo instrument, a vocalist and a bass instrument, all at once. From time to time the guitar, too, indulges in lowfrequency joys. The drums rumble in an expertly slipshod way, adding the finishing touches to this musical alloy of grandiose grotesque and gleeful nonsense.
----------------------
The free concert takes place at the Peter Wiechenthaler Hut at 1752 metres. From the Bachwinkl car park the hike takes about 2.5 hours. Those who wish can join our hiking guide Birgit and hike up together. Meeting point for this is at 8.00 am at the Bachwinkl car park.
Good shoes, headgear and a drink are recommended.
Only on good weather. In case of bad weather the concert will take place at the Gruber Halle.
The decision will be made the day before until 05.00 pm.
