(Hiking at the mountains)
A 24h hike between Salzburg and Tyrol
The March on Stoaberg Mountain sees endurance runners take on a 50-kilometre course over 24 hours. They are to grind through the stunning landscapes of the rocky Leogang Mountains, the Steinernes Meer Plateau, Hochkönig Mountains, the Kitzbühel Alps and the Hohen Tauern Mountains as they cross from the Tyrol Region into the Salzburg Region.

There is a taxi shuttle organized to the starting point.
- "Stoabergmarsch" Costs: € 59,-
- Alpine guide, refreshment station, finish-board, finisher-present etc. are included
- The participation fee have to pay at the Start area directly!
The recommended equipment:
The best way would be to bring classic hiking equipment, good ankle-high hiking shoes, warm clothing (even to change), waterproof clothing, drinks and basic food. Further we recommend: sticks, headlamps or flashlights if available, sun protecion and shield-cap; eventual you need hat and gloves etc.
Conditions of participation
Take note that the participant is physically fit, has no cardiovascular disease, a good general fitness, don't suffer from vertigo, hiking experience (not climbing) and brings particularly good mood . It's absolutely necessary to follow the statements from the guide to detain a fluently/good run. The event will take place in all weathers (rain is no obstacle), except in extreme weather conditions (snow, storm, ...), will the event delayed (date will be announced). .
